I learned to play as a kid, but I stop playing. Three years ago I started to play again and I saw a rapid increase in my rating. I feel a little stuck since my rating haven't change a lot in the last 6 months.

I think that playing to much bltiz and relying on winning by time has make me lazy with calculation and strategy,

My chess goal over 12 weeks is to be over 2000 in the other chess site, and break 1700 in chess.com.

Welcome! I think those are great goals.

Week 1 day 1

I've started some daily games. I won 1 and the rest are not finished yet.  I played 2 15+10 games. The first one was a draw where I had an opening advantage and didn't know how to push, then my opponent saw his chance and had a winning position and at the end I thought it was a dead draw but I had an extra pawn that could promote. The next game was a win where I was never in trouble.

Observation to myself. In both games I end up with more than 12 minutes. I should expend my time more wisely.

Day 2

I'm more familiarized with faster games, so I had no problem with that.

I want to do the extra credit but I don't  understand how to do the woodpecker. Should I do the seven cycles as the book says? Or should I make less cycles?

You can pick a set of puzzles that you can work on in one sitting for the first Woodpecker pass. Maybe it's the first 50 puzzles. Then keep working on that set of 50 until they are automatic. After that, you could try adding another 50 puzzles to make it 100 total and keep attempting that set. I think 7 cycles is a good number, but you can be flexible with that.

Week 1 day 3

I played a better 15+10 game. I used my time when I got out of theory but at the end I end up losing. My opponent played very well.

Week 1 day 4

I reach 1600+ in blitz and I'm fighting stronger players. I think I go 50-50 with them.

Extra credit.

I did woodpecker method. For lack of time I only did 20 puzzles and the next day I did the same 20 and 20 more. I have just failed in one but I would like to do 50 a day. I'll try today.

I finished my second week. I'm really happy with the progress in chess.com, but it was almost a new account so the climbing was easy. I haven't been as lucky in rapid games, I don't expend my time according to the time control and lose the advantage.

Here are my new ratings:

Rapid 1349 1890

I have solved 60 puzzles from the woodpecker, 20 each day, the ones I've already solved a 20 new. Also I did some exercise from the Yusupov books.

recap week 2

I drill the woodpecker and I think I'm getting sharper. I haven't play to much slow games but the daily games are pretty nice. For opening review I used chessable. I want to start working in my strategy. Should I read the yusupov books (I don't know if they are about strategy)? Or the winning chess strategy by yasser?  I don't know which is better for my level.

Reassess your chess by Yasser and the Yusupov books are both good options. Reassess your chess will be all strategy and Yusupov will be about half strategy, but is an overall really good series for development. Can't go wrong with either!

Sorry I was confused. I meant reassess your chess by Silman

I think you may be too advanced for winning chess strategies.
