do you divide negative fractions?
more free math help
Hey I'm not sure as this counts as me needing "math help" as I don't have a problem with any problem (lol) but I was wondering, why is x^0 = 1? I understand this is because the multiplication identity is 1, but still... why isn't it just 0? because x^2 is x*x, x^1 is x, so why isn't x^0 just 0? This is something that has been bugging me ever since I learned about the rule lol

I did this in TCOF too, haha. I decided to start offering math help to anyone interested, as I like math and wish I had more of it haha. I can help with pre-algebra, algebra 1, geometry, algebra 2, trigonometry, and physics equations. PM me or let me know here if any of you are interested!
