Killers and Detective can PM me their target/person to check. Killers remember if you can't agree, I RNG it.
Doctor, you'll get to choose to save/poison/do nothing after the killers decide on their target.

i only list in order because that's how s3 and s4 were run, by allocating players numbers. we won't be using numbers here(there it was used to control discussion and make sure everyone got to speak but here we don't need that) but i use it to organise my lists of who's what.

Rules
(Rule Summary + A Full Game)
If you can't/don't want to (I don't know why you wouldn't want to, but sure) watch it, the rules are below.
Day/Night in Online Play
- Night phase: killers get 36 hours as a team to decide on a target. If I get multiple, I RNG for target. Detective gets the full 2.5+ days to check someone. Doctor gets one day after I send their PM to decide whether they save, poison, or do nothing.(remember they know the target before saving). No one is to post in the forum and only living killers are to be PMing each other during this stage.
- Day phase: SK and Knight can use their abilities in the first 48 hours (after that, voting has begun proper). You can vote anytime after first 24 hours, lasting max 48 hours. Discussion ends at 48 hours to leave the last of the 3 days for voting only. Voting may end earlier if either all votes (or confirmations of not voting) are in, or I have a majority for one player (this is rare but does happen sometimes). In the second case, I will reveal all votes so far, but will clearly differentiate between a player who has not voted in time and who has chosen not to vote. Tied votes are repeated, double tied votes go to night with no death. There should be no player to player PMs during this stage(to reveal info. Reminder PMs are always allowed.)
Roles
Killer team wins if either all civilians or all skills are dead. Good guys win if all killers are dead. Nightfall, detective, doctor + killers can use ability. Day, knight can, and psycho + sk are on-dying abilities. Voting is private while running but will be revealed after it closes (so you know who voted for who). You can choose not to vote. Please avoid PMing anyone else, the only player-player PMs should be killers in nightfall agreeing on a target. If you die on N2/D2, you don't get last words(important aspect particularly for a detective who has revealed themselves). Here are the roles:
Killers(2): should be obvious. They know who each other are, and kill one person per night as a team. Are able to kill themselves to bait the heal/gain trust if they want to take the risk.
SK(Super killer)(1): Same as above, but on death (unless poisoned by doctor/challenged by knight) can take someone down with them. During daytime, they can also choose to suicide during discussion, taking someone with them and making the game go to nightfall without voting/further discussion.
Civilians(3): again obvious, no abilities, get to help vote like everyone else
Detective(1): Well known role. Every night gets to check one person (only 'good' or 'bad' not their role)
Doctor(1): One save and one poison per game. Can't use them in the same night. Knows who died before deciding to save or not. Cannot save themselves after the first night. If poisoning the psycho/sk, the ability gets disabled(psycho/sk, not the poison ability)
Knight(1): One challenge per game. During discussion (NOT voting), they can challenge a player. If the player is 'good', the knight dies, if 'bad', the challenged player dies and the game goes straight to nightfall. To challenge, they must use this format: 'I CHALLENGE X'. Any improperly formatted challenges will not get a response from the mod (me).
Psycho(1): On death (unless poisoned by doctor), can take someone down with them.
Point System
The system differs from most MMs in that survival is not important. Every player on the winning team, regardless of how long they survived/how much they contributed, earns 1 point for their team winning. At the end of each round, we will do an MVP vote, with the MVP getting one extra point. (this is from S3’s point system) Points may be removed if you are proven to be PMing info to hide it from everyone else. (i'm just testing this out i'll remove this negative-points feature if it doesn't work) Seasons last 10 games each. If a player quits/does not say anything on the thread for a whole game so are considered inactive, they will be replaced with the first player on the waitlist, who will inherit their points in that season and their role in the ongoing game + any info they may have had/actions they may have taken (if they quit halfway). Seasons will be archived on this post once they end.
