Elonzo wanted to analyze this game but he didn't notate so he asked me to post it. Before the tournament started, I was joking that i was going to be playing in his section and I would play him the first round as white and exactly that happened because he got moved up into my section. I got first place in that tournament and Elonzo got second, his only loss was against me but he could've won.
Elonzo saw bishop takes on f2 but didn't play it because he thought that i would be better afterwards. He didn't realize how good that move was until after he played knight to e7. This game is a good example why you should play the board, not the man.
