Good luck, mostly with getting enough money to go to all the tournaments you'll have to join... Are you sure that's an obtainable goal, however? It seems that you would be studying what, 4-6 hours a day, plus college?
My promise to all alabama players

college is only about 3 hours a day plus I'm attending a good big club and starting a chess team on campus and will have a coach. Also I have played 2 years and it seems whenever I play the stronger players in multiple games my subcounscience gets tired of getting slaughtered and memorizes their playing style and I become as good as them. My best friend taught me chess and we played over 20 games every time he slaughtered me(he was the best in the school) and when summer hit the tide turned. Thats why I am a tactical player mainly because my best friends style was a tactical style. I improved even more facing nimzo and getting the floor mopped with my face but thanks to him I developed a positional style. Though I'm glad I was able to play an even endgame with him on this site, and I don't know who would of won if he didn't make a blunder. I know that getting beat in the open section won't be fun but it will help me improve, and with that , reviewing my losses and wins, and alot of study I will keep my promise.

and plus the college is paying me minimum wage to do work for them so I will have money for college luckily :-).
How's that goal coming along? I've almost made my goal of a 1500 OTB rating... once I move back down to Florida, where chess is pretty serious, I should be able to make my next summer's goal of an 1800 OTB rating... hopefully, and with luck!
Summer 2010 when I come back I will be class A stength or above.
