what is with the gold mountains?

the gold mountains are just mountains but you can get gold for each piece you have next to them

they are called goldmines

I think too many mountains and broken gold income is fine to do as a joke, but as a main style of gameplay, not a fan. I like the balance of the default game a lot more.

I do this a lot before I started playing games with more bots and players

After that I began to cut down the goldmines and mountains

It can be fun to play a busted game every now and then. But I also like the grueling challenge of the default sometimes. 

So i played a game with gold mines and i thought you needed to bomb them

don't try to bomb them if they're near you. Do it if it is controlled by an opponent.

But before i thought they dropped gold when bombed
