Nice name although kinda misleading when you consider what excelsior actually is in chess. I believe it is different enough from "Check Again" that we can definitely consider accepting it, since Check Again has pawns moving in the other direction and predominantly fairy pieces. Pretty cool idea, +1

Nice position. I think it'll be fine if players remember which way the pawns go (unlike me).
I've removed KOTH, filled in the centre, and made the walls transparent for the listed version.

This position was removed (caused by the most common cause of removing custom positions: unpopularity). Therefore, this position may only be played casual again. How about this: if you find that the popularity of this custom position returns, you should relist it.

Absolutely. We will always be open to relisting popular variants. I actually really like this game, and argued to keep it on the list for a long time, but the popularity just kept decreasing, and it was constantly among the least-played listed games.

I believe that there's nothing related to 'popularity' or something like that and I'm sure that this is just another bunch of beautiful words they are using like my local corrupt politicians, who expect that I will believe them again. No offence but it's just funny to think about it.
This community and these players continue to show that they aren't interested in good games. They need masterpieces like Warp speed or the Guardians of the Hill. According to Grable's words, these positions were more popular than mine. So, if it's true, there's definitely something wrong with these players.
