backstory:
once, a young couple (jessica and james) got stranded in the middle of nowhere. jessica is the sister of lilly. they were on their way to the movie theater, but something was following them. it followed them to a desert, known to be home to the most deadly creatures. jessica and james had no clue what to do, so they just kept going and going until they lost the followers. unbeknownst to jessica and james, they were right above them, on a disk-shaped aircraft. a glowing beam of light came over james and he floated up into the aircraft. they left jessica behind, though. jessica ran and ran to see if she could find anyone- but no one seemed to be on the planet at all. jessica was the only one left. no james, no family, no friends, no one. just her. and possibly some other survivors...

so the aliens killed everyone except the characters, jessica, and a few others. in the first chapter, we got situated and prepared for the journey by looting a hardware store and making stuff. Then we went to Moscow. then we arrived in Altai and are on our way to Dagestan, Russia to find Jessica. You can read chapter 3 for more info
So uh I just joined and want to play, and was reading through chapter one. Then I realized, OH NO CHAPTER ONE HAS 30 PLUS PAGES, and there are three of those. Would someone please explain basically where everyone is, and what's happening? I know that there are aliens, and some stuff but I don't know a lot of it I'm sure. Thanks.
