Never hoped...

can you please say more on the phrase you brough about. i mean, i cannot imagine and have not seen anyone that happy; is the citation related to real life? :) it's interesting
:) that's good for the citation is contradictory. if one is tired of and bored with his everlasting happiness, one is unhappy. How can a tired and bored be happy? And if one is unhappy, then how could he possess lifetime happiness? :) a similar contradtiction as was with Igor's citation about disappearance of desires.
A sophist paradox seems to be hidden in every witicism, even in the one that attempts to refute it! Take, e.g., the following: "wit is the shaky top of great efforts". This comes from Peter SEIBT (cf. http://www.chess.com/groups/forumview/sung).
Now, if Peter is right, then his wit is also shaky, therefore wit can be robust. But if wit is robust, then his wit holds therefore wit is shaky.
The only conclusion, is that sophists should have been crucified...

. It is this terrible cynic G.B. Shaw once again!...
