I need less complicated words to brain this. XD

If you use Firefox, I suggest the Google Translator addon. It has made my internet life so much easier. When I see an unknown word, I double-click on the word and I see the translation instantly! (screenshot)

EDIT: I just realized that you live in USA. Please ignore this post! happy.png

But this has a weak point: if one of remaining players has better chances to eat the dead king, he maybe just vote [No] to get +20 points.

Make the votes visible to other players. If someone gives a profoundly wrong answer in order to satisfy his personal interests, I am sure that the other two players will find a way to punish him.

You are right, but in reverse case: if someone disconnect just because he is about to get mate from red and red has very good chances to eat the dead king, the other remaining players maybe just vote [Yes] (=the player left because of a connection problem, or an unjustified resignation) to spare +20 points from red. That wouldn't be fair.

To #13: Anyway, after a player quits, the question arises. I'm not sure that the remaining players will answer in seconds. They think maybe through a few rounds on position and ignore the question. So I think, the question in the game does not help deciding whether the king of the quitting player should be grey or should remain eatable for points.

But the question in the game not useless at all! It is great to determine if it is necessary to punish the outgoing player due to negative gameplay / exit.

What do you think?

@venbagoly I had in mind that the question will be presented in a prominent way, with a popup in the center of the screen. The clocks will stop, and the game will not continue before all players give their vote. If an answer is delayed beyond one minute, the server will assume that the answer is [I don't know], and the game will continue with the dead king available for capture.

If two players unfairly vote [Yes] in order to prevent Red from getting the king's points, but Red vote [No], then Red's vote will prevail. The rule will be: if All players say [Yes] then the dead king will have no points (will be gray). Otherwise the dead king will be available for capture.

I'm afraid the popup window would be very confusing. It's important to filter the "leavers", but perhaps more important to provide players with a relaxed and smooth play without disturbing factors. Not everyone likes chat rooms or popups while playing games. So, the question should be answered discreetly, I think.

But if we have to resolve this question at all costs, then yours is the best solution for me, so far.

I agree that it can be confusing, because this is not a simple question to ask. Basic knowledge of English may not be enough for some users to understand what they are asked for.
