new backround

some people want a background and some want one thats easy to see through, so you can post your backgrounds here and vote on it

Thanks Shadow, good idea. Here's a gradient that I hope would be easy to read text on. We have a few other people's backgrounds to come as well before we decide. I've shown black and white text in second image, to demonstrate how text would look on it, as that was the main problem I had with the Chess Hub image background, originally. The gradient can be darkened or lightened, if you want, and I colour matched your logo colours with a colour dropper, in Canva.

We'll have a look at more tomorrow, before we decide. We're not in a huge hurry, anyway.

I think the one Shadow did is a bit too business orientated for us. It's like a powerpoint slide for a meeting.

Oh dear. They're very low res, as well. shadow's is 110KB and mine is 168KB. Do you mean you can't view them in the comments at all. Can you see these ones?

Here's another option, if you want to keep the logo graphic, but just soften it down. I can't get rid of the vibrant blue line around the knight, unfortunately, but text is slightly easier to read on it. 

It's just the image made more transparent, with the gradient thingy on a layer above it, then image flattened in export, in Canva
