It's similar to King of the Hill
NEW chess variant!
but this is slightly different, and would take much longer to win by hill. The main problem is, you can't have 2 hills that are one for each side. If one king reaches any hill, they win, but in your variant, they both start on a hill.
This is just racing kings. Play it on lichess tournaments or if you somehow find another person on chess.com that wants to play that (which takes forever)
I play a lot of correspondence games of Racing King and have a pretty high rating. In fact they even have daily, weekly, monthly and yearly tournaments which if you win you get be on the leaderboard until a new one is made. However I still rather play 4 player-chess

Its different than Racing Kings. Its classical chess, with classic setup, but you need to bring king to opposite last row.

Actually I agree with this, maybe mark first and eighth line, so that there is no confusion.
Probably I will post my other variants here as well.
Here is the one of this. Its called Campmate Chess. Idea of this variant come to my mind long time ago and only now I managed tell about it. Anyway, its classical chess, only change is that you can also win a game by bringing king to last rank (8th for white, 1st for black)
