New Games: Suitable Opponents to Challenge

Since we're now down to just one game, we need to start some new ones. Any suggestions for groups we might challenge?

Here are all the games we've played that resulted in either a draw or a loss...

LAST RITES ... draw in last game

The Unsound Openers ... draw in last game

Doubles Vote Chess for Coaching League... draw in last game

THE SEVEN-UPS... draw in last game

Team Brazil ... draw in last game (not sure how much I trust this group)

1.Nc3 1...Nc6 Fans! ... draw in last game

The Unseen University ... draw in last game

The Great British Empire ... lost! (although we've won in two games against them)

Los Mollejoski ... lost! Not trustworthy!

1.b3 Nimzo-Larsen Attack ... lost! (only played them once)

Any of those look appealing? I'd like to challenge some of the teams we lost to before.

NOT Los Mollejoski !!! They were banned by Daws for suspicious engine matchup rates, and when I looked at their discussions (or lack of them) I had not the slightest trouble in believing that they did cheat.

I'm a Terry Pratchett fan, so I like the idea of playing The Unseen University chess team again. At least they won't be using a chess engine to cheat with; if they want to cheat they have dastardly, magical and completely undetectable means of doing so 

Which was the recent long game where we had to fight for the draw? That one was fun.

I'd forgotten about Los Mollejoski but when I looked over their profile I started to feel suspicious. A couple of the admins look like duplicate accounts. I asked some of the cheat-detectors & they told me it's well known engine group, so we can exclude them!

So The Unsound Openers then?

The LAST RITES game was a tough draw...

The problem with the Unsound Openers is that they are going to want to play some weird opening that they have researched to death, but I suppose it's good practice for us. I think we have played Last Rites a few times and I think the games have been good. It would be good to play against some new opponents but I've been looking and I can't find anyone obvious. I have to go to bed now! I'm very tired!
