that sounds pretty kool expect it would be pretty hard to make. like how will they communicate? chat probably but that seems like for fast games it would take a while so maybe make it a 10+ minute game
Yeah, it probably would have to be a longer time control. (Prolly 15/10)
How about alternating hand & brain?
I think a better variant would be where you have a two on two, and you take turns moving pieces.
Yes, that is what alternating means

for alterning are you gonna block chat between the teams or all of them? like can you chat with the other team?
Recently i've been pretty burnt out on chess and chess variants so i've been thinking of new gamemodes to add onto chess.com. I think a lot of you already know about hand & brain or alternating moves chess, yes? So why not make it a reality? Or what about alternating hand & brain? And no, i don't mean that you just play a blitz game with your friend and do this, but actually make it a playable gamemode against random people! You queue into a game, where 2 players tell the 2 other players what pieces to move? Let me know your thoughts on this, if you'd like it or not etc.
