New hand & brain/alternating moves variant onto chess.com

Chat is actually going to be pretty difficult, didnt think of that

What do you think is the point of alternating moves? To make a 2v2 but in a 1v1 game. 2v2 doesn't play like normal chess at all.

And vote chess isnt really that fun in the end. You can say you like it, but youre just going with the flow

that's pretty smart. what if you play with a friend then? you might want to have just random people. also make it random elos combined so it's more people making mistakes or brilliant moves. isn't that how they do that in that one competion.

like magnus would tell a 800 to make a bishop move. make the elo like that

Makes a lot of sense, but playing with a friend just makes the gamemode not useful. What would you do? Say what move to play? Then it's practically a 1v2alternating. It's not like it will be a competitive gamemode, more for fun

I think you should be able to queue with different elos. Just set it to whatever range you want.

Simply remove the code for the "play with a friend" feature in the play section.

But that would cause issues with actually wanting to play with a friend. So on the other hand i dont think its a very good idea

also what competion was i thinking about? where magnus would tell the 800 what piece to move? make the elo based on that so you wouldn't know what elo you have to play with

Its just a concept, it could be anything

So yeah technically it works, the average elo should be equal though

on the freind thing just make it against instead of on the same team then. or make it able to pick 4 friends to play against

it actually sounds like something people would play too. no offense but sometimes the ideas are things that only some people want to try, but this is something that most people would probably play a bunch! I probably will at least, seems really kool!
