New Member question(s)

1) Is it the more the merrier, or will you only need a certain number of people. I ask I'm not really all that strong of a player, and certainly only at a blitz time control (1400ish)

2) Do you normally have that number?

3) If we really aren't very good at eg bullet or chess 960 is it better not to join or if we are available should try and play 

4) what is the best way to find the matches do most people use the tiny url link or is there something easier?

1. The more the merrier, of all skill levels. We may outnumber some teams by a lot, but when we get to facing teams such as Iran or Argentina, we'll be the ones that are outnumbered, and in those cases getting every player we can really matters. 
2. Like I said, we'll always have some matches in which we're outnumbered. So we can always improve the number of players we have participating. 
3. Always try and play if you can. The more people we have playing, the better. 
4. If you're referring to how to find Team USA Live's upcoming matches, that can be found under "Next Matches" on the club homepage. If you're referring to other teams' matches and the league standings, the TinyURL links are the best way. The league might be able to switch to an automatic system next season, but for now we have to use the Google Sheets that are accessible through those links.
