Hello this Is a good Idea to study this wonderful game
New to the club
Welcome! I suggest checking out the RCS classroom. You don't have to progress linearly. They are organized by topics but you can jump around. I can have a couple tabs open so I can jump around depending on what I feel like focusing on at any time. In this way, maybe your ADHD is an asset since in a game you won't necessarily know to look for a particular tactic (forks, skewers, etc.) and working on a few of each at a time might help recognition in a game- maybe? Anyway, I've found the classrooms to be a great asset. While I wish my schedule allowed for more interaction with the various tournaments, group lessons, etc. I find the classrooms to be flexible enough to fit whatever else is going on with my schedule so I can still get some good study time in. Good Luck!
Hello everyone. I am Osiris, nice to meet you all.
So, I am coming back into chess after a long time. I learned the game as a kid & would play only by intuition back then but I would do well given my lack of experience and knowledge of the game. My interest in this beautiful sport has had a resurgence so I would like to get some help gaining more knowledge. Any advice is welcome. I am all over the place in what I study & having ADHD is not helping me much, lol, so I would like some suggestions on a few directions I can focus my study time so I can start to build a solid foundation on which I can stand. Thank you all in advanced. I hope this can be a good start in my new journey & the start of making some new friends in this arena.
