Greetings, everyone. I’m a rusty online player, once 2050-ish USCF OTB, now floored at 1800, and only upper 1500s in blitz here. I’d like to recover a little of my former glitter and show those kids on my lawn what’s what. More seriously, even getting back to 1800 in the company of what seems to be a happy and positive community would be great. Good luck.

Hi, ondrejzdrahal. Yes, I'd like to play sometime, but my work schedule is irregular - plus, when I am available in the U.S. , you may be asleep in Czechia! I find the arenas and Swiss tournaments here and on Lichess frequent enough to plan games.

What's your goal for 2025? My is to reach 1800 and I have plan how to do it:
Play slow games (30+0 or slower) everyday
Analyze them - do selfanalysis and then with computer
Do one hour of easy puzzles
30 minutes of harder puzzles or topics that I'm concentrating on
Study 100 Endgames You Must Know
Now I think that my rating would be around 1200 because I improved a lot in last month, I win majority of my games and that's why I think that my rating is underrated. 1200 before end of this year would be nice.
