As long as the notes are not based on engine usage you are okay. Writing down you analysis so you don't have to restart next move is okay.
Notes

That's right. You can also use opening databases as long as you're not looking for the best move

The databases cannot have evaluations. The opening explorer shows the percentages of players that have used moves without giving evaluations of those moves.

Idc what happens after I post this, but Charlie Kirk died this past week in cold blood, a man of god a dad, and a husband died because of his opinions. Why has America come to this? He was an innocent man, and he didn't deserve this. RIP Charlie, you won't be forgotten
hope who killed him is happy

Are we allowed to use notes in daily games against our friends? Notes: meaning lines that you wrote down to memorize.
This article from ten years ago does a good job of outlining how some strong players employ books and databases (and personal notes) while playing correspondence chess (what “daily” should be called).

You are allowed to use the database/explorer when playing DAILY GAME. You are not allowed to use the engine or other people in daily games, and you are not allowed to use the database/explorer in live games.

Your initial post was about daily games. Those are the only ones where notes can legally be made.
I was better off memorizing a few lines of my preferred openings (B&W), 10 moves deep and playing a bunch of games to see what moves were played against me, then memorized the most popular lines depending on common responses. You’ll be surprised how fast you start to build your positional awareness…you’ll get a lot better, quite quickly, too. Notes, etc., can become a crutch you might feel lost without, no need to get into bad habits.

What wasn't clear (actual question, let us know and we can clarify)?
Daily games - YES you can use notes and opening database / explorer-like tools, but not an engine to generate moves.
Live games - NO external help is allowed, including databases or notes.
