Update #1: Resetting my day 1 to January 1st because the holidays were full of relaxation and less focused study. So yesterday:
-Started the chess.com daily game tournament.
-Played 10 warmup puzzles based on overloading, got 7/10 right and loaded the other three into my missed tactics database
-Played 4 5+5 games. Went 2.5/4. Played into an Old Benoni and did okay in the opening but got a little lost in the middlegame, managed to fight back towards a disadvantaged endgame, and then thought I had a winning tactic but hung mate instead. Won two games as black in a Sicilian, then drew a wild game that I should have lost (hung a piece), should have won (opponent hung a queen and I saw it as soon as I played the wrong move), but then pulled out a perpetual check.
Takeaway: my blitz performance is very shaky and time management needs work. Prone to 1-movs blunders, need to do work on quick blunder checks before moving.
