Online USCF, but not online FIDE?

I mean think about it guys, there's online USCF tournaments, but not online FIDE tournaments, anybody know the reason for this?

Have you seen the FIDE online site. Looks like a commodore 64 game from the 80s but it is there. (Yes, I am that old. If you are not, then google it.) They even added some titles so you can become a titled player and get a FIDE rating from playing on their site.

Is there any free way to play tho?

You can play for free but then no FIDE rating. If you want a rating they want your money first. Plus money to make any arena rating official. At least that is how I read it.

Chess Arena is made by FIDE, but the titles they give don't really mean anything and isn't anything prestigious. FIDE has online tournaments but they are not really online. They don't want you to cheat so you would have to go in person and play on a computer there.
