Anyway I assigned that game to you, I think Aaneliia was distracted and she didn't join in time.

Konrad, I suppose is Aaneliia's fault if you got banned for 20 minutes. In theory you could have played now (repeating the game) but she left quickly, so in my opinion you deserved to achieve a win in that game.

I want to clarify the issue arised with Konrad. I saw he created a 4+4 game to challenge Aaneliia, but someone other not participating in the tournament joined. This is the only flaw of this kind of do-it-yourself tournaments.

I think he created the game and abandoned it 2 or 3 times in a row before getting banned (costing him also some rating), so I assumed -- but I can be wrong -- that Aaneliia (who had already missed rounds #2 and #3) probably was the person distracted, which didn't do their best for getting the game started as scheduled.

It is nobody's fault in the end. It's just that... We do not have the tools to run a regular tournament! Anyway it's the first time that I see this happening.

Suggestion: everything becomes simpler when the opponents are 'friend' because one can see when the other log in on the variant server and challenge him/her privately. Being 'friend' with the tournament organiser is also helping for me.

Another way to limit intrusions is to set a specific rating limit specifically addressed to your scheduled opponent... Not so practice in an open tournament like this one, but it could be so in let's say a over-1900 tournament.
