What is the Pan American Live Chess League (LCPAL)?

The Pan American Live Chess League (LCPAL), officially sponsored by Chess.com, is the continent's premier live chess competition. The LCPAL has premium membership prizes generously provided by Chess.com: the first, second, and third place teams in the LCPAL's tournaments win 5 Diamond, Platinum, and Gold memberships, respectively. Those prizes are then distributed to the five team members with the most participation and highest performance over the course of the LCPAL season. 

What is the format of the LCPAL?

The LCPAL hosts tournaments of many different formats, including the Blitz Cup, Bullet Cup, Rapid Cup, and multiple U1600 tournaments. As each new tournament starts, we will announce the format via News post and in the USChess Live Chess Match Play Discussion forum.

is there a way to download all the games from a match , to prepare for the opponent?

I don't get any of this...  Is it just a chess tournament against other- I AM JUST CONFUSING MYSELF MORE.

Is there a new link with the current standings?

No - because you don't know your opponent until the last second.
