In the 3rd pawn promotion puzzle should the white K perhaps be on h2? 

Absolutely, Not on g2, where Nxe3 is check.

Pleased to hear that. 

Many of these puzzles I didn't get right the first time, and because I learned something from it, I felt like sharing.

wow I must be getting good at this 4/4 for #11

Showoff!  I blew that one on the 1st move. I tried d3? forgetting that the black pawn promotes with check.

that #12 was a little tricky.

#13 Nice puzzle. I got this one right, but took about 4:30 min.

I think #9 is not complete, it would sharpen the sensibility for drawchanges.

Because of Qxc5, with the following thread of perpetual check on Qc8+ and Qf4+.

yeah, i know there is not really a perpetual check, but some may take on f2 with the pawn or may play e2 to promote in the next move.

to be honest I didn´t saw the opportunity of Qxf4+, I thought Black should give a perpetual check.
