Pensoneau vs. Roods

My score against Chris Pensoneau is dismal.  3 wins and 1 draw.  How can I explain to you that the score should be 2 -2 without sounding like I'm complaining?  The above game for example was played with the time control of G/45,+3.  I am positive that I could find 35...Re2 winning a piece in normal circumstances.  Well, hopefully I get a chance to play him more often since I really enjoy the struggle against him and his uncompromising play.
