vote chess is stupid you don't learn a thing
Petition for Beginners and Masters to play vote chess as a club

is that a yes @ninjaswat? Also, @hvenki it isn't stupid at all, higher leveled people can make good decisions already but lowered level can learn off of it, see strategy, and do better in other daily chess matches. Lowered level players also have time to make a move, and better decision making skills then.

but it's not as good as direct teaching, what often happens is a 2000 goes "x move or you're dumb" and the lower rated players don't actually ask why the move is good, if you want to be taught it's much easier to post a forum here and get direct help

True, but as I said that rarely happens, it's mostly a high rated player spouting moves without giving much reasoning behind them, and the lower rated players just play what the high rated dude says to not because they understand the move but for the sake of well, moving:/

True I guess, but it isn't teaching if you don't explain the move and why, that isn't such a good teacher/mentor is it?

Exactly my point. You just simply don't get good teachings via vote chess. But I suppose it's also about the fun.
I wish to join, because why not

Alright, thanks. Also, vote chess isn't about quick moves, so lower leveled players can analyze past moves to see why that was a good/bad move because they have time.
To truly learn and gain experience, I would like for Viznik to start Vote Chess so we can learn more and more as a group. For this to happen, I would at least like 30-35 "Signatures" (about 1/3rd of the club).
Say "I" if you would like in. Then I will edit your name in within 12 hours. Viznik you should sign up too, thanks.
