I keep trying to answer this, but I find it difficult to type while I am playing.
Pieces you guys are working on

About strange lands and people is a very nice peace, have you played the rest of the set Kinderszenen?

Are you sure it's not Sonatina? As for Dussek, I have never heard of him, but I might search him up on Youtube now.

"The Entertainer" by Scott Joplin - great fun. It took me quite a while to be able to play it from start to finish, and there's a lot of room for improvement. I liked this piece the first time I heard a fragment of it in the 70s, but didn't attempt to play it until 2008.

Hi there...it's gret to join this group...I never though I could find a community of piano and chess players...fantastico!!!
I think it's a great idea to tell the group what everyone is playing...I'm working on 3 pieces a transcription of the Swan, by Saint-Sans, on the second movement andante of Mozart's concerto 21, and the Sonata in C Major...future projects (no timeline yet) include the Andante Spianato op.22 Chopin, and a transcription of Schubert's The Trout...
look forward to getting to know the group...I'll put a picture when I find out how to do it...any advice?
Hasta luego...

Welcome!
The little button with the tree on it is what you need to post a picture. Either from somewhere else on the Internet, or from your computer.
I just finished working on a set of pieces I've been playing for a while (Chopin Mazurka Op. 67 N.4 and Le Polichinel). Now, I will either play the Bach concerto in F minor or the second and third movements of Saint-Saens' Concerto No. 2. I also possibly might do Rachmaninoff's Prelude in C# Minor.

Rachmaninoff Prelude in C# Minor is nice, I've never gotten some of the chords at the end though, maybe you aren't supposed to...
I think it would be interesting to know what each other is playing, so if you want us to know, then please post here.
