What is the correct plan for white?
Playing the knight to c5 via d2 and b3, then advancing the f5 pawn. Yet Black has a5, so White needs some preventive moves in between like Qd3.
Eventhorizon your idea is ok.But not f4 because black can simply prevent f5 by playing g6.And also f4 pawn blocks white's dark squared bishop.
So what is the correct plan?
Well this is a strategical position which we need a proper plan. When we assets this position we can see that black is in lack of development. And most probably he will play Be7 followed by 0-0.So if we get the queen in to the play we can get a strong attack.
How?
Ne1 and simply Qg4 and Nd3 Nf4 and Nh5 and hassle black's king side pawn.If now black plays g6 then Bg5 and after the exchange of bishops then dark squares around the black king is too weak.
By the way this is a GM plan which i got from Daniel King's power play 8 DVD.When i am searching for a plan in this position i got the idea of playing Ne1 followed by Qg4.However i couldn't go through the entire plan.
