Players Should Not Be Play-Banned When Aborting Bot Games (When All Players Are Bots+The Host)

Seriously. There should be something coded in in the future so that we can spare the custom position makers (of course I know that Bot games don't count just saying) and casual players of the pain of waiting minutes because they forgot to place a piece there or this wall there or because they didn't put the correct gamerules in...

Another alternative is for the number of hosted games (not public casual, any hosted game) that you can abort to be higher, as it's casual either way.

just play a few moves and then resign, or only abort one game

You don't need to host a game with all bots to play with all bots. Just use "start from here" and the bots will make their moves. you'll have unlimited time to make your moves too happy.png

don't start a game if your gonna abort, don't abort just because you are a certain color in the game.

why would you abort a bot game

No, I think it makes perfect sense. I actually had no idea that this wasn't coded as an exception. I test games all the time, where, even in the first move, I realise I didn't set it up correctly, or something isn't the way I wanted it. Aborting these games shouldn't be counted against you, either with a rating penalty, or a playban. I've passed along this request to the team.

I am not doing that I care about my rating

Just to clarify, I am talking about Casual games. Aborting the game or having to waste your time moving pieces (ok I guess this is just the most minor inconvenience but it's happened to me before) isn't exactly great.

I agree with Grable. sometimes I like to make variants (which I am not very good at) and then i notice something wrong usually I play a few moves then resign and fix it
