Very nice game Alex, as usual :)

I have a couple of questions to try to understand better:

16.a5 is to avoid 16...Nb6-c4 I guess. Is that correct? However, wouldn't 16.axb5 allow white to get at least a bit of play on the a-file?  

The other point is that I wouldn't be sure how to avoid the h3 sacrifice with white...  Should have he played 20. Bf1 instead of 20. Rbc1 or something else?

Hi Michele,

yes, I think that aim of a5 is to block that maneuver Nb6-c4, but I don't like a5. Usually is a bad way to play block the side of the attack. The problem of the white is that to attack "c6" is very hard.

I prefer axb5.

I think Bf1 prevents the sacrifice.

about the move "a5" I have an interesting game to share.
