Playing with Black is much easier than playing with white... and i agree

I cannot remember how many chess games i have played but there is one fact i'm certain about... i have lost more games playing with white than playing with black. I admit that there are a lot of great openings for white but there are just as many counters and it's not easy defending a counter attack as white. 

Does anyone agree that using white is difficult, or is there some skill that must be mastered.... or better still should i always insist on using black. 

At my level i don't think the colour i play with matters much. i think the better player on a giving day wins.

I do better wih black. Mostly Sicilian...
