Please add new variants: V-chess, S-chess, Placement chess, Omega chess, Coronation chess

and tell me how to create new chess variant on chess.com. Thank you!

Rook and bishop can fusion to become a queen, if the queen disappeared.

while i do agree we need more variants, here is why we should wait a bit longer:

until a week or so ago, only one person was doing all the coding and bug removal, and believe me, there are tons of bugs as well as constant problems that occur regularly, so much that one person is not enough, especially for fully coding a new variant.

however now even though there is a thread that asks for more people to code, we should first focus on debugs, integrating 4 player chess into variants, as well as other problems like the leaderboard that keeps disappearing as well as extending it to contain more people rather than just the very absolute best.

in another thread, you can see a few new variants that they are working on, but they are not in use yet, 

i believe we should go for quality over quantity, and perfect the variants we already have, rather than go for more and more and more untill everything goes wrong and we lose the variants sector, especially since chess.com is not very interested in variants currently for i do not know what reason, and a major breakdown in the variants sector will result probably in abandoning it

About 15 years ago on the Palm handhelds there was a version of chess with a 5x6 board.  Can that be played online either with players or computer? Or, is there some company selling it?  I still have it on my Palm.  Maybe someone here could implement it?

Bruh. Nonsense. That is simply a thing that the server does not currently work with, it is not a rule, a big system change. And if there is really a lot of people that want, then went don't you create your own website like we created https://8playerchess.com ?

Actually, it's not a hexagon chess that I was mentioning.  The board is 6 high and 5 wide and the Palm program allows specific starts.  Matching across the board, reversed, random starting placement of pieces on first rank.  Was hoping someone would have made the game work on the internet, or someone might sell the set. 

So that variant has no variant rules except the position? Note i was talking to @KnockKnockistheFBI about hexagonal squares.

You can change the position on four player chess, and still play with two players only. Or, wait until the position editor is incorporated on variants (it will)
