What about participation levels? How can we make sure there is enough people online at any given moment and for any given length to warrant a tournament like that?

Yes, we held a tournament and only 4 people participated. One player played with 2 minutes left. Maybe he was busy before that, but I know, from experience, that people like to jump into the arena at the end because they know they can survive 2 minutes. Only two games were finished. I think we will wait for the club to double in size before more live tournaments are scheduled. Vote chess, on the other hand, is going incredibly well so far, and I am already thinking about vote chess leagues in which you play a 2 game match against other clubs. That would fit with our profile of a daily match club.
Why are we not conducting tournaments that only include our club. It is ridiculous. Do a tournament that only consists of our club.
