I think the biggest challenge for us might be gaining members, as there are a lot of ppl who don't feel comfortable about ppl knowing their religion.
Please respond ASAP
Also I think a problem for us is the low activity rate. It's circular. We don't have many members, thus the activity rate is low, so we don't have many members.
Yeah, I feel like even though there are a lot of christians, some people either dont feel comfortable with sharing their religion and a lot more people just arent chrisitian. and even if we could ivnite the whole website and even though probably like a third of them are christian that leaves a lot of people who would say no
Yup. Because if they reveal they're Christian they think they'll come under attack from different religious groups
maybe thats a bit extreme. it may true for some people but im talking about the majority of people and the general problems we face. yes thats a problem in the real world it happened with the jews and in some parts of the world it is happening with the christians but on chess.com you're safe
some people hate us and thats the reality of it.
you either deal with it or you deal with it theres no way around it

I don't mean physical attack. I mean bullying and stuff

Even if there are a third who are Christian, what percentage of that third speak English?

First of all, the large majority, and second of all, I don't think we should focus on language barrier I am curious how to make our club better
I just joined a club and they recommended I post this into the club. I just need your feedback on a couple of things so that when I participate in a club conference I will be able to speak for us all (at least all who care in some way). The conference will help clubs find solutions to problems they are facing. Essentially what they are asking me to ask you guys is what problems are we facing, what are we doing well, and how have we done in the past.
Hello members! Our club has recently had the huge honor of gaining representation in the Chess.com Club Conference, where we'll have the chance to talk with other clubs, share stories, and come together to create a future where clubs are united in some of the biggest challenges we face.
That's where you come in. We as club representatives ask of you to tell us in the comments what you believe to be the club's biggest challenges, best areas of expertise, and the events and people that have shaped this club into what it is. Doing that will help us prepare better to speak not just in the best interest of us as managers, but also us as a club.
Thanks so much for telling us, a little means a lot in this event and we greatly appreciate it. Have a wonderful day!
