Poetry

Yesterday, on Friday, I had a difficult day. I felt I should not go to work because the weather was too nice and work is difficult and not very nice, and several things were going on. If I were a better person and did not stay on Internet so much, I might have had a chance to make an impact, but instead small things were going wrong for me. I told someone that I consider myself indecisive, too.
That reminded me of this line of poetry, about myself. But I could not remember the whole line so later I looked it up to complete the phrase.
"The best lack all intensity, while the worst are full of ...... "
Anyway, now I have found the link. It is a commonly remembered poem by Yeats. I have looked it up and learned he was alive until 1939. The Paris Review commonly says there is a widening gyre of heavy-handed allusions to the poem, and that is pretty amusing.

The missing words at the end also reminds me of people who are nuts about politics (well, the media in some cases, and certain politicians.)
