In Four Player Chess | Setup Options:Â No matter how many available Setup options there are, most players will always play on the default standard. BYG was available for more than 6 months without any success, and the exact same thing happens for BY and old standard.

All setups lead to enjoyable games and none is some sort of quasi-forced win for either team, so the question is what do the actual living players want.

Omatamix is a player who suggested using it. Not sure why BY has so many votes, perhaps a desire for change? BY has a very small player base, but is quite fun, maybe a bit more interesting than new standard. what is omatamix
Omatamix is the current (new standard) 4 player chess piece setup where blue and green have king and queen switched places whereas in Old Standard (piece formation (starting position)) all 4 kings are placed at the light squares at the start (right, left, right, left) red, blue, yellow, green while in Omatamix (New Standard) it's right, right, right, right (red, blue, yellow, green.
