Cool games BEES!

TheCurse: Whenever they play h6 against you and you have Bg5, Bd3, Rf1 and Qh4... ALWAYS play Bxh6, don´t even think, it always works:

In your other game I would have preferred to return to f4, just to have the chance to sacrifice it on h6:

Bees nice games!

Thanks!

Here are some more... been in a bit of a rut lately but trying to climb out of it.

This is classic BDG e6 pin/rook action.

Good Satxusa!

I would have stopped to think if Nxf7 or Rxf5, I always stop to think about that in those situations. Ha.

I then I end only simply winning back my pawn and not getting any advantage :-O

BDG Teichmann Retreat

SocialPanda

Good game Diemer Kills!

I don´t know if there´s an earlier improvement, but at move 12, I would have played Nxg6 and then Qd3. Just because of an "all bridges burned" mentality, that forbids me to retreat.

Couple more:

And a familiar trope some of you have probably seen many times:

Nplus3
One of my best BDG games recently, I think that it is fun to play at a lower level although I feel like often when the lines I study are not the ones that my opponent plays I miss the best way to get an advantage from a sub standard move. Clearly didn't happen this game, but often I am unable to get such an explosive attack with obvious ways to continue. Definitely going to keep playing it.

Nice Rook sac Nplus3.  Fun game

I finally broke the 2000 barrier in blitz:

Just how robust is the sac on h6? Felt pretty confident it was still good here. The pawn on f3 is actually a useful supporter, preventing Ng4 as a defensive resource despite losing my bishop.

Is any of that baloney sound? I'm not sure, but it felt fun anyway.

Black resigned here. There's clearly no defense. This was a line that I recently lost a game in OTB... the improvements I made after the fact are paying off.

Congratulations on breaking 2000 BEES!!! Smile

Bad ass!

I didn't play this Teichmann declined variation very well... but fortunately for me neither did my opponent wink.png

Played the BDG in a match for the first time last night. My opponent was rated 89 ECF (1367.5 FIDE) and was quite old so I figured playing something really sharp  would get him out of his comfort zone. I played 1. e4, he replied 1. ...d5, and how could I resist?
