Problems connecting to Chess.com using Chessnut EVO

Greetings everyone! Has anyone experienced Chess.com blocking Chessnut EVO? I have no problems connecting with other devices to Chess.com from my home network. However, I get blocked when connecting using my EVO from the same network and IP address. As a workaround, I downloaded and set up ProtonVPN on my EVO, which allows the EVO to connect. While this can be a solution for folks running into this problem, it still asks why it is happening.

I just completed a game with my Evo less than 30 minutes ago (it is 15:50 EDT right now). No problems at all. Game lasted about 2 1/2 hours.

Did you use the "new" Chess[]com API (right hand option when you go into "Online Match"). That is what I used. It took a while to "Authorize" but it worked after a bit.

I don't use the EVO, I have an Air but I've never had any problems at all. Do you have any other Chessnut devices you can try?

No other devices had any problems. A bit of background may explain what was happening. My EVO would not recharge the battery and had to be replaced. The new EVO would not connect to Chess.com, forcing me to use a VPN. My fix involved swapping batteries and logging out of Chess.com on both Firefox and Chess.com beta API using the old EVO and my home network. Only then was I able to log in to Chess.com using the new EVO and without needing a VPN connection.

PS: I also found out that the EVOs' battery cutouts were different sizes. The new unit's battery cover was too large to fit in the old unit.
