so, it's 5th move for red, red's move, go to green's 4th move, so you don't see the answer. You will see the end of the game, but don't look at it, so you don't spoil yourself. (Before you start reading any further, take a look at the game first)

here is an example, how you can stop mate, but it ends with mate for red and yellow in 15 moves. before you read what's under, copy and paste this and look at the game, and then come back

so what happend in the game? Queens are good for attack but also very helpful defending yourself. Blue and green lost because blue's queen left the base. I think that blue and green would lose anyway, because green can't mate red alone, and blue needs to defend himself. Red and yellow also have their queens in the middle, which is very helpful, so here's what I think who would win if both teams play smart:

advantages for red and yellow:

-queens in the middle

-they have multiple figures attacking blue

-they have better developed pieces

-green has too many weak squares on the king's side

disadvantages for red and yellow:

red is weak(weaker than blue)

red has no pawns protecting the king in the center

I think in the end the red and yellow would have won

If you don't understand one move from what I've shown, you can ask here. I am not a pro, but I think almost all moves are the best

in the first example, it's not clear who's winning

I sent a line, that maybe could save the game, and -1 for ry is nothing after the queen trade, because ry have 1 bishop and 1 knight more, so it should  be almost impossible to mate red that quick

Is it just me or does 5.b Qc6 refute Bxc7?
