Son=10 & Father=40 (4 times now)

after 20 years.....

Son=10+20=30 & Father=40+20=60 (2 times)

i.e. answer is 10 and 40 years the son & father...

Ajay-The_Grandmaster

hello I asked after 30 yrs & not 20. Read carefully.

DraeKlae

An equation system:

f = 4s (I)

f + 30 = 2(s + 30) (II)

Replacing f in II:

4s + 30 = 2(s + 30) --> 2s + 15 = s + 30 --> s = 15

Replacing s in I:

f = 4*15 = 60

Therefore, the father is now 60 years old and his son is 15.
