1 puzzle per 3 days seems ideal to me...
puzzles
Hello everyone. We've decided that I'm the Wednesday puzzle person (well, Wednesday for me, in Ireland GMT).
The Wednesday PuzzleI'm going to be posting themed puzzles every Wednesday, and some of the puzzles will be checkmates or checkmate combos, others will be tactical puzzles, where there might even be more than one "correct" answer, so you can discuss tactics and approaches to figuring them out, before I give the answers. I'm starting with medium difficulty ones, but would like to keep the difficulty level rising to whatever we can just about manage.
The Goal of Solving (and trying to!)
We want to challenge ourselves, without making it feel impossible, and I'm sure you all know how great puzzles and tactical challenges are for our chess skills! That's Wednesday sorted, then, and I can't wait to see everyone else's puzzles, 'cos we all have our favourite styles of puzzles. It's going to be so much fun in here, all week!
What, in here, you mean, for events? Isn't it just another thing to look up, if we don't use it in our respective countries? Or is the question general, like why don't we all adopt it? We'd have some people on daytime, and some night, still, if we did.
edit. I just looked it up, and it's the same time as GMT. Not sure about summer/winter hour changing though.
oh nvm
I'm not sure what that is either. Abbreviations are a pain, when you don't understand them, and several things start with the same letters. You probably didn't mean "node version manager" tho'.![]()
Oh, It's probably never mind. I looked up nvm in text speak. ha ha. The UTC thing confused me as well, 'cos I'd never actually heard of it. We use GMT in Ireland. Very confusing, all the timezones, but luckily there are various converters online to help us out.
