Hello everyone.Since it is Fun Friday:- We are going to be looking at puzzles which feature World Champions.Each one will award you 1 trophy.Do NOT post the answer in the comments,just post 'Solved!' and message the answer privately to me.
Game:1-Played in 2001 between Anand and Kramnik who are World Champions now,Anand won the game with the white pieces.White to play and win
Wow,What a sacrifice.Though Anand chose to play another way to win this was a variation and so..Just give one line.Clue:Mate in 3.And 2nd move for black is Bishop takes on c2 which is the best move in that position.
Game 2:Mikhail Tal versus Mikhail Botvinnik ,Championship match:1960
Tal finished it off in style as always.(That is the hint)Though Mikhail didn't take the sacrifice he still resigned after a move so find both variations which occur due to taking the piece.
P.S.Don't use engines or explorer.You can use the explorer after you finish the puzzle if you want to study the games
