Teleportation and those star trek transporters aren't the same thing. Quantum teleportation simply means transferring the quantum state/pure particle information onto another particle, so that's its indistinguishable from the original. It's basically just a weird copy. Those transporters in sci-fi are simply breaking down your actual molecules and reassembling them somewhere else, so it's not teleporting. Even if this isn't a scam in the scientific breakthrough aspect, it's still a scam in the implications for every day life stuff.
