I have the last few days studied endgames queen vs rook. I have played against computer (rated 3200) with queen - I have not yet achieved better result than a draw. If I lower the computer rating to 2000, I can win in a very short time.
I have tried to let the computer play against itself (rating 3200) - the result has so far been a draw.
Can it really be true that white can not win in a position like this
