Does anyone know this chess set from the TV series?
Queens Gambit chess set

I was wondering that myself as I was watching it.
I also like the set in the final game.
Would love to know.

Well, since the game took place in the 60's I would assume a 60's set.
I have 2 Soviet sets from the 60's as well as a repro but none exactly like that.
That set has taller, sleeker Bishops and thinner pawns.

I think that the final set used in Moscow scene was a Latvian or a variation of the Latvian.
The one used in Las Vegas scene was a Standard German Tournament plastic set. They should have used a Drueke Players Choice set for that scene.

This set seems like the one pictured in the 1st post.

Although the Bishops seem to have a different head.

I was wondering the exact same thing, what set is the one used in the final episode against Borgov. It looks so mesmerizing
Just as an aside to this interesting thread, I have to say I REALLY enjoyed the series. It was brilliantly done, totally mesmerising. The final scene where she bathed in the admiration of true chess fans was pretty moving. The final word "играем" ((we) play) was just perfect. I got the impression she had found a true 'home' and was thinking of defecting, but that was left undecided.

Historically the defection was from the USSR to USA. I am sure that the Russian fandom of Beth might have been true but would not have been so openly displayed during the days of Soviet rule. I highly doubt that the Soviet government would have allowed the Russian public to openly show support for Beth or be like the Americans were during the early years of the Beatles landing in America. Chess wise the series was great minus some of the sets used were not time period sets. However with this series it might spark a new interest of chess into the main stream. That's a big plus for the game.
