If you can solve this you win 5 soar tickets. Assume that a room is equipped with three doors. Behind two are goats, and behind the third is a shiny new car. You are asked to pick a door, and will win whatever is behind it. Let's say you pick door 1. Before the door is opened, however, someone who knows what's behind the doors (Monty Hall) opens one of the other two doors, revealing a goat, and asks you if you wish to change your selection to the third door (i.e., the door which neither you picked nor he opened). Answer the correct answer and explain why that would work. I will tell the answer after 2 days.

The right answer is to switch because before you had a 33% of being right but now you have a 50% change so It is better to go to the other door.

Good answer though

The answer to the riddle is that you should always switch to the third door. This is because the probability of winning the car is higher if you switch rather than sticking with your initial choice.

When you first choose a door, there is a 1/3 chance of the car being behind it, and a 2/3 chance of it being behind one of the other two doors. When Monty Hall opens one of the doors to reveal a goat, the probability of the car being behind the remaining door that you did not choose increases to 2/3. This is because one of the doors that had a 2/3 probability of containing the car has now been eliminated, leaving the remaining door with the highest probability of containing the car.

Therefore, switching to the third door will give you a higher chance of winning the car.

I agree with bigshotdragon33 when they said
