1. Why does the tame button not appear sometimes, but it does appear other times? Does it depend on my position to the sleeping baby animal?
2. Cosmetics are completely useless, right?

that is wrong, the levels are baby, adult, and boss, so technically u cant have a boss pet when u enter because the max is adult for badges. BTW ur completly wrong because the mininum for u to have an adult pet when u enter is electric, not poison.
