Tournament rules state 9am ang start, 7 rounds Swiss sa groups B,C,D while sa Group A Masters ay Davis Cup knockout style. Makaabot ka pa sa hapon siguro.
Per yung Masters ay 2 games of 10 mins each lang per match eh then may playoff scheme sila, may Armageddon Im not so familiar.

Venue is actually the Bluewave Mall, along Macapagal Avenue corner EDSA. Kung galing EDSA/Heritage Hotel, eto yung nasa kanto before going to MOA (yung may globa na fountain natatanaw sa laki). MOA is in the next major road in EDSA.
Kitakits! Men in orange na naman ata, will bring our shirt also.
Hope it's not too hot in the venue, specially in the afternoon.

Wesley So Wins Pichay and Davis Cup Rapids Masters Invitational!
Wesley has to go through the hole of the needle to win this one.
It was a knock out system with 32 invited masters.
Wesley has to defeat:
1. NM Ybanes
2. NM Elorta
3. IM Oliver Dimakiling
4. IM Richard Bitoon
5. GM Ronald Dableo
to win the title. Wesley had to go through 2 armageddon games to win the title.
The format is 2 games per match with an armageddon tiedbreaker. White is alloted 6 minutes black 5. In case of a draw black wins.
That shows how competitive the rapids chess scene in the Philippines and will be a viable spectator sports in the future.
