Rating Bughouse

So, My bughouse rating is balancing between 1500 en 1600 for some time now.

I am playing for some time now with the same partner who has a significantly lower rating <600 , and I have noticed in the last tournament we've played (4/6) that my rating went up more than my bughouse partners', +19 (1529 -> 1548) rsp +2 (578 ->560).

Now, this was especially strange, since the last two games of the tournament my opponent didnt move, but my partner was playing stronger rated blitz players, even for me, and was winning the game, which resulted in them quitting, with minimal interference from my side.

He deserved to gain more points than I, so it is a bit ironic that i've gained more than him.

Any explonations for that?

When a game ends because one player never made a single move but the other 3 players did, that player's opponent gains rating; however, his partner and his partner's opponent do not change their rating at all.

Additionally, chess.com ratings include a ratings deviation to account for how accurate your rating is.  Players who have not played a lot of games have a high ratings deviation; therefore, each game such players gain or lose more points than other players who have low ratings deviations (have played a lot of games).

Ok, the additionally part I get, but the first part doesn't seem to be fitting what happend, since my opponent didnt make a move and I gained 14 points (-> 1548) and my partner gained nothing while it was him playing (and winning) a much stronger opponent.

There shouldn't be too much deviation in my rating since I've been playing quite regurarly bughouse for a while now.
