Reason for Withdrawal From FFA Champs

I’m sad to write this because I genuinely enjoy competing in four-player chess. However, I’ve decided to withdraw from the tournament due to a few personal concerns with the rules.

First, the camera requirements feel too demanding for me. I understand the need for fair play, especially with prize money involved, but requiring multiple camera angles a face cam, and potential additional checks mid-match isn’t something I can realistically accommodate. I also don’t have a suitable private space to set this up without involving family members, which I’m not comfortable with.

Second, the requiremnt to submit a photo and display my full name is something I’m personally not okay with. I understand that others may not mind this, but I prefer to keep that level of privacy.

Lastly, while I respect the effort being put into growing four-player chess and appreciate the prize pool, participating under these conditions isn’t worth the trade-off for me.

I want to be clear that this isn’t meant as criticism of the organizers, I appreciate the work that goes into running events like this. I just wanted to explain my decision so there’s no confusion.
